What is the difference between industrial LCD screen and general LCD screen
What is the difference between an industrial LCD screen and a general LCD screen? Many customers will think that it is just a change of the case. Why is the price different? So what is the difference between an industrial LCD screen and a general LCD screen? Compare:
One: reliability
Industrial LCD screen has more stable anti-fouling characteristics. Generally, LCD screens are only used in small indoor spaces, such as homes and reception rooms. Relatively speaking, the natural environment is relatively tidy and the temperature and humidity control is also more effective. However, industrial LCD screens often appear in industrial production sites with extreme office environments, where there is more dust, and the temperature and humidity are not easy to be stable.
Two: power consumption
Products that are used for home or personal applications are more concerned about power consumption and advocate energy conservation and environmental protection. In these aspects, industrial production displays do not intend to reduce power consumption, only stabilization; additional heat removal system software, bright LED backlight and other design solutions will further increase power consumption. Naturally, in order to fulfill unique requirements for many industrial LCD screens, such as three-dimensional demonstrations and even naked-eye 3D, the cost of machinery and equipment is far more than that of civilian products that everyone can touch.
Three: display the total area, the difference is very big
Whether it is a monitor or a TV, the total display area and display ratio have certain national standards. For example, LCD display specifications are 32 inches, 37 feet, 40 inches, 42 inches, 46 inches, etc.; and the display ratios are all controlled at 4:3, 16:9 and 16:10, and unique ratios are generally not easy to appear. In these aspects, in order to better meet the requirements of the promotion and planning of unique venues, industrial LCD screens will show products with non-standard display ratios, long strips, or squares. Industrial LCD screens formulated for unique requirements are of course more expensive than commercial production lines.
Four: chroma
Because industrial LCD screens generally appear in wide areas with good lighting, the chromaticity of home TVs and civilian screens is difficult to meet the demand, so highlighting is also a major feature of industrial LCD screens, and the cost is difficult to estimate.
